The CQI Construction Special Interest Group is pleased to invite you to its event, Quality: turning risk into opportunity

On Tuesday 25 September, the Construction Special Interest Group of the Chartered Quality Institute will present aspects of how quality is synonymous with risk, the impact this can have for our Clients and knowledge sharing approaches to reduce quality risks in the construction process.

This topic relates to the governance aspect of the CQI Competency Framework helping to ensure all stakeholder requirements can be met but also driving improvement by enabling more efficient and effective ways of working.

Attendees will gain an insight into the personal experiences and lessons learned by those involved in implementing collaborative initiatives.

There will be refreshments and an opportunity for networking between sessions.

Speakers:

The event will be introduced and hosted by Jon Adshead, Interim Chair of the CQI Construction Special Interest Group. Jon is an Operations Director for Business Improvement in the Mace construction business.

Nigel Ostime: is a Delivery Director at Hawkins\Brown Architects, chair of the RIBA Client Liaison Group and co-chair of the Housing Forum’s working group for Stopping Building Failures.

Dr Gregor Harvie: is an architect and co-founder of Designing Buildings Wiki, a knowledge sharing platform for the construction industry used by 4 million people a year.
